NASA EPSCoR Programs in West Virginia
NASA West Virginia Experimental Program to Stimulate Competitive Research (NASA WV EPSCoR), a joint activity of the West Virginia EPSCoR Committee and the West Virginia Space Grant Consortium, is devoted to advancing West Virginia's scientific and technological development, and promoting research activities in direct support of NASA's mission and scientific enterprises.
The NASA WV EPSCoR Committee consists of representatives from academia, industry, and government in West Virginia. This committee meets twice a year to set policies, review programs, and to make research awards to faculty from all institutions of higher education in West Virginia.
NASA WV EPSCoR programs consist of two main components: Core Programs, and Independent Research Projects. Under the Core Programs, NASA EPSCoR supports a variety of activities related to strengthening the research capabilities of faculty in science and engineering disciplines in West Virginia.
